How a busy mom lost her after-baby fat

Most of the people reading my blog are used to ask me “Why don’t you include more and more real-life stories in your blog”??? According to them, real-life successes inspire more than anything. And I think they’re right. So, we’re including a particular section entitled ‘Real Life Stories’ here. Anyone of you, who wants to get inspiration from real-life scenario, can get here.

Well, the first success story is of my friend ‘Jenny’. Attention!! Moms…., especially busy moms…

She gained a lot of weight when was pregnant with her baby in 2006. After the delivery of the baby, she was having 65 pounds extra. So, her quest was to lose 65 pounds approximately. Initially, she started taking fad diets and got nothing. Mom (her) advised her to join gym and she joined. Can you imagine? She spent 1.5 months there, but weight was still at the starting point. Oh!! How hard the life was??? She also tried weight loss pills but results were almost same.

You can lose weight just by changing what you drink, without even touching what you eat.

Okay, first of all, I am little bit confused whether to use the word softest here or I should say one-way to lose extra after reading weight. Decide yourself what I am about to say….

When most of the obese people think about weight loss, then, what they consider which they should take care of?? Exactly, food and their meals. They think about calories but again in terms of food and whatever they’re used to eat. It’s good enough as food makes the majority of our diets but diet doesn’t mean just FOOD. There is another aspect of your diet that’s being neglected by everyone.

Any idea??? Any guesses!!!

Well, I am talking about drinks, especially water. Water doesn’t contain any kind of calories so try to replace everything with water. It may cause some troubles initially, drinking more water than your body is habitual to, and you’re running to the bathroom constantly. LOL….. But stay with it.

How much amount of water???

Eight glasses, for a normal person and if you’re obese then you need more. And, this more can be 16 glasses of water and even more……

Drinking water is an absolute must if you’re really serious about health and weight loss. If you’re doing everything, but no results then, it’s what you’re missing. Have watering…

So, you know what was the reason of my quest????  

Let’s begin with the beginning of this journey. It was not so easy and there was a moment when I thought, it’s impossible and I was just to leave all this. But as you know, things happen and you can’t stop them to happen.

From where to start? First option was, went to my friend and told her what I was feeling. She asked me to join gym and also suggested to cut-down my fave dishes means dieting. Okay all right, I started that and joined a gym being run by a famous fitness expert. Oh! that tough exercises and weight lifting what they asked me to do. But in order to gain something, you need to hard work so in order to gain weight loss, I was continuously following them. But, one and half month is over and NO RESULTS.

Secondly, started searching online and believe me innumerous websites are offering same services. Which is the best and is okay with my trouble? It was the next question to be answered. So, very scarily (after lot of researching), I chose a fitness program and I’d not like to post its name due to some reasons. It asked me to eat more calories and fewer proteins and also some exercises were to follow. I was following the program and when I checked my weight after 15 days (as prescribed in program), it was not less but was more and I was at 185 pounds from 176 pounds. What the hell, they people are doing??? I don’t know, religiously.

Yeah, yeah, I also consulted with my doc and the pills, supplements, prescribed by her, again useless.

That was the point when I thought to leave all this and to commit suicide. I don’t want to blackjack you, it was the reality whether you believe or not. But something brought me what I was looking for; about which I’ll tell in future posts.

Okay, let me take you in little flashback… it was January 2nd …a special day when my friend was getting married and I was going to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. Those days were just for shopping, shopping and shopping ……
One day, in a mall, she picked up a dress and gave it to me n said, ‘hey, try it, it’s the best for you to wear on wedding day’.

Very quickly, I was in try room, but what’s that?? I was unable to fit in that because I was fat or whatever you’d like to say. That was the first day when I realized that something is here that needs changes. And yeah, it was my body shape. I was not in mood to look so fatty and shapeless bridesmaid. But what to do?? I decided to do something and believe me I was completely unknown about Fat loss methods and programs. But finally, I got it and will tell you the whole process through this blog. Before that look what was I and what I am now…..

This is Maria….a dentist from India ( now in Texas ). First of all, everyone reading this should be an energetic person and should have the courage to listen what I am saying and yeah, you can also follow me…..

In the past few months, I was so frustrated (why, will tell you later), and I do think many people are here, who are going through such kind of situations brought in by obesity and overweight. So, I decided to share my personal experience with you buddies, or I must say Fat loss enthusiasts. It can change your life by changing your body shape and you can be a healthy wealthy person and can get a muscular body as I do have. But, have patience.

Weight loss is one of the most talked topics these days. Everyone wants to discover the best weight loss diet, plan, pills, supplements, methods and everything like that but according to me- First you need is your mental preparation. So, get prepared mentally to read the truth about obesity and extra weight before you go for some useless diet plan and program.

Okay, very unwillingly, here’s the truth of my life……….

There is a gal name Simran, oh!!! What she is, the most gorgeous gal on troupe wearing skinny jeans and shorts. Every guy on troupe…. What to say…… everyone is mad after her. Her body shape was just superb ( its tough to admit that….but thanks god she is now in bangalore) Oh! my gosh. What I am, fatty- lazy girl ( just 37 extra pounds frankly…) with few friends. And its just that I can’t digest her beauty..not because she is sexy and slim but coz once she crack a joke on me….that

Yo is so FAT you don’t even fit in this joke!!!

How to get that slim and sexy like her?? It’s common question which every gal goes through. But hey, don’t worry as I have found the right answer and you’re just to found. Hope, Simran must not find this post ….( for sure she wanna kill me for mentioning her like this..)

Initially, I said that you must be an energetic person, energy comes from where?? Food. SO, now I am lacking energy and I do need some food. Mom has prepared Bacon for me, I am unable to stop my self so will get you later….. bye…
