Visit bakeries, pizza, Ice cream shops to gain weight!!

STUDIES HAVE SHOWN THAT MOST PEOPLE GAIN WEIGHT IN CERTAIN PLACES: LIKE BAKERIES, PIZZA PARLORS, AND ICE CREAM SHOPS.

Yeah, it’s true. A survey conducted on more than 20000 people has shown that most of the obesity comes from Bakeries, Pizza Parlors and ice-cream shops. It’s a very serious trouble and America should get rid of it otherwise American population is on RISK.

LOL….Oh! Come on. Nothing is special there, it’s an obvious fact and no studies have shown that and I think no studies need to show that. Every one knows that Junk Foods are the main reasons of obesity and all above places are huge stores of junk foods. Some facts that you need to know (And, I am serious now) -

1. Researches found that 83 percent of high schools and 67 percent of middle schools now have contracts with a soft drink manufacturer.
2. Participation rates in outdoor activities are lower and TV, online games, Ipods and PSP etc are main reason to it.
3. One in four ads shown during TV shows advertises Junk Foods, Soft drinks, sweets etc. Children do believe to follow what’s happening on TVs.
4. Skipping breakfast and visiting Pizza-hut is the newest trend, not with teenagers only but also with older ones.
5. Most of the internet users especially gals, do like to visit online fitness programs and only a few of them are interested in out-door activities.

So, researches have shown above 5 facts. Now, it’s my time so I’d say..

“Creating the perfect environment is not easy but choosing the perfection is not tough”.

Perfection means good eating habits, whether it’s you or your kid.

Is it possible to get rid of snacks??

Recently, I read a post entitled ‘How to eliminate Snacks’. The writer explored how snacks are responsible for obesity and what the benefits are of eliminating snacks?

According to him…

“Snacks are a major problem for kids these days. Years ago snacks were not a problem as most people couldn’t afford snacks but now the large majority of children do eat snacks. Snacks that most kids eat are either sweets or chocolate and this is most definitely not good.”

Okay, I do agree with him, but can anyone reading this post assures me that he/she can prevent his/her kid from eating snacks? Definitely, not, no one can do that and I was also facing such situation. Actually, my kid is in 7th standard and believe me, the hardest part was to stop him from eating snacks. David was used to eats snacks whenever he’s hungry. I’ve tried to make him understand that he should go with fruits and juices rather than snacks and junk foods. At that time he says’ yeah! Mom’! But in my absence, snacks were his fave pastime. And for me, Snacks were my enemies who’re spoiling my kid.

I was really not able to decide what to do? Once, I just ordered him to stop eating snacks, but it resulted in disobedience. I was so frustrated from his increasing body weight and his extra body fat? But I did that with a little bit of planning and results are 100 %. Okay, what I did, it’s here:-

1. I bought some healthy snacks that were acceptable to me for my kid to eat. Actually, all snacks are not harmful but most of them are.
2. Let him to eat those healthy snacks and made him sure that mama doesn’t want to stop him.
3. Then, showed him a documentary exploring what fruits mean for health and also why fruits are much better than snacks.
4. You know what!! he was changing. Next step was to show him the disadvantages of eating snacks. I did it very successfully. OH!! It’s easy to make kids fool but not as easy.
5. What happened next day??? Any guesses!!! He was watching power rangers with an apple in hand.

AH!! It was surprising but was so satisfactory.

That’s how I get rid of those so called “SNACKS”. Are you a mom like me, then just try the methods which I tried; definitely it’s going to work. All the very best as kids are nothing less than monsters.
